Can some one tell me how to run spark plug wires from rear to coil packs. I took apart all my black spark wire retainers and i don't know where they go back. The previous owner of my vehicle did not use grease for the boots and it took me 4 hours to replace plugs and wires :th_sick1:. Thanks.

Pictures would be great.

You mean how they run from the back of the motor to the coil pack? It is 2-4-6 in the back and 1-3-5 in the front. Running them to the front of the motor, just put them underneath the blower snout.

yeah, the rear was a slight pain in the ass, i did it this past Saturday, tho i dont have a S/C the wires i got were a little longer than the stock so i didnt have to really snake them through anywhere

I dont have a S/C but there is a certant way to run them using the black clips i know the fireing order and were to put them on the coils. i was just wondering if any one had pics so i could look and re run my wires right

I thought it was pretty straight forward since the black clips are molded INTO the front of the manifold.

i didnt re-use the clips, the wires i got were bigger and i just tossed them, you dont need them, i only used the divider on the intake manifold and did 2,4,6 that was it,

and if you really really want to re-use the clips, just run them the same way the cyl are 2,4,6 4 always in the middle 2 on the left 6 on the right.

WOW,

I know the fireing order

I know what the clips are for

I know that i dont need a spider nest of wires on my motor

Can any one post pics of how to RUN THE WIRES from the back of the motor to the front!

:th_angry-pissed::th_bangheadonwall:DUDE Are YOU FOR REAL!!!!????? DO IT THE SAME WAY YOU TOOK THEM OFF! Thats what we have been telling you the whole damn time, you dont need to be a GM Master Mechanic to know that, there is not snaking, no TRICK to it, Just run them OVER THE INTAKE, UNDER the front fuel rail and BINGO YOUR DONE you kept saying I WANT TO USE THE CLIPS, SCREW THE DAMN CLIPS. I tried to help with out ever having to do this or EVER did this to anyone but TRY the SEARCH BUTTON, when you do wires unless you know exacly what you are doing never EVER take everything off at once, one at a time, alwasy.....Holy S*it...Wheres the Tyelnol...

First - decaf is in the orange pot. ;)

Second - I don't think he remembers how they came off - hence the question.

Third - J4, you run the chances of not getting future questions answered when you act like a d!ck when you don't get the answer you're looking for. Perhaps you're not explaining it well enough - or there's just a misunderstanding.

That being said...

I didnt have my coffee yet when i wrote it LOL, that might not even answer his question because he wants to use those damned clips and wants to know how to run wires in them to get them to be perfecto,

PS, Very Clean Engine! :)

It's all good - just giving you $hit. It appears that he now has larger (8.5MM??) wires - so the clips got tossed. He will need to use some sort of wire keeper to keep them from being all over the place.

P.S. - not my engine - but thanks anyway.

This used to be:

HOLY CRAP!! i can and woudl eat off of that thing LOL, thats sweet, my wires are 8mm and i just used a tie wrap at the back of the engine to just hold them from really hugging the valve cover, thats it no magic :)

Are you wrapping them around your exhaust manifolds? How did you burn plug wires... twice? And a dealer had to send you info on how to route your wires? :th_scratchhead:
