Hi again, I have 2 questions for anybody out there who might know? I have a 99' Grand Prix GT 2 door and I'm looking for the interior lights that go on the side above where the seat belts are, near the doors? I can't seem to find them on the web anywhere and been to all the wrecking yards in town, and they don't have them. So was wondering where to find them a good price, or what exactly there called so I can do a web search instead of just putting in, "interior lights for a 99' grand prix". All I find on the web are the ones that go above your head, near where my sunroof is, not on the sides. Sorry, I meant to say the light covers, not the lights themselves.

Second, my wiper washers stopped working, so bought a new pump, found out it that wasn't the problem, and yes did checked it with a meter. There is no fuse, found that out too. They say I have to replace the whole switch, turn signal and all. I found a used one that they say is guaranteed to work or money back for 50 dollars in better shape than mine. So my question is, is this something that I can do or should I hire someone? What all is involved in it? I was told the hardest part is getting the steering wheel off without setting the airbag off? If anybody has done this and can tell me exactly what is involved it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for any help!

Darin

you can get the turn switch off with the wheel still on, theres yt vids showing how.

to get the air bag off un hook the battery, then theres 4 small holes on the back, stick a screw driver that fits int he hole and turn it to unlock the lever in there, work your way around, then break the wheel nut free and use a small 2 jaw puller to pull the wheel off. i make the puller tight and hit the drive bolt with a hammer and it will pop off.

Thank you very much! I was looking for some vids on YT, but couldn't find any on a grand prix? Most of the people told me to take off the steering wheel to get at it? Will try just taking off the cover around the steering wheel column first then. Doesn't look that hard, some screws holding it on, and following the wires and plugging them in where the old ones were?

Thanks again, Darin
