While I was cleaning the threads on the block for my head bolts, the tap went too deep and fell off in the block. Top far right hole in the front. 98 gtp, any suggestions getting it out, not sure if it was a coolant port or oil.
 


its in the coolant area of the block, the only way to get it out is via a freeze plug. even then you may not get it out.

dont see why it cant stay in there.
 
If it can stay in there I'm all for it lol. Just don't wanna f*** something up when I finally gets the thing back together.
 


no need to buy a tap. take a old head bolt, cut a groove up the threads with a grinder, run the bolt in the holes.
