Help with Wheel Studs

Feel free to delete this post after I receive some help; I know this is the members ride section. There is just a lot more traffic here than anywhere else.

I'm sort of stuck right now... I'm adding .500" spacers to give my new TSW wheels more poke. (They have 15mm less offset than the GT500's)

I bought a standard .500" spacer from Summit, and they are the ones with out the bolts in them, just straight spacers. I need to get longer studs in order to run these, because I don't have any thread left. It must be .5011" or 12.73mm Knurl, but I can't seem to find any other length than 41.5mm length (This is the stock length).

Simple math says that in order to get the 1/2" back, I need a length of 54.2mm

HELP!!!

Sorry I'm not going to be any help with your question but... Half-inch Non-centric spacers with bigger heavier wheels? At minimum it's going to vibrate like hell. At worse you are going to loose a wheel going down the highway.

My first thing is to have to move your thread. Thanks for that. No one section honestly gets much more traffic.

Bang your studs out.. put in longer ones and you are all set.

My wheels are actually lighter than stock Alcoa's.

Do I need to remove my rotors/calipers? I just got done putting in 2.5" drop springs in the front, but I'm seriously a retard when I comes to hubs. I really don't want to crack my brembos loose.

If you are going to do those spacers anyway... You should remove the caliper and rotor to make it easier, it's only 2 more bolts. You won't have to remove the brake lines though if you have something big enough to set the caliper on that won't stress the line and banjo fitting.

On a W, I believe you have to remove the hub to get the studs out. No matter what, the brakes need to be unbolted from the knuckle.
