help with paint color code

I am in the process of detailing my 06 GP GT - love the car. It is the bronzemist metallic. My wife hit the rear bumper this winter and it needs a little work, so I thought I would give it a try.

Every site I look on says there shold be a paint color code on the rear deck lid. I can not find it too save my life.

So can anyone tell me where it is exactly - and possibly with a pic so I know what I am looking for?

hey i found a site yesterday i dunno if you been there but its automotivetouchup.com. they have details on where to look etc. they also have little help section where it may be useful to your project. if i did something wrong by posting there website, admin i apologize! hope this helps

it will be a number at the bottom of the sticker in the trunk it will start with a u or an l

The sticker is in your trunk, underneath the cover for the spare tire. It is on the left side, you don’t need to remove the tire, just the cover.

I found it. Web sites kept saying deck lid, but it was under the cover for the spare tire just like you said.

Just ordered the paint and the clear coat. I am going to do the whole rear bumper and bill my wife.

lol I know, alot the websites are wrong for a lot of 04+ info.

I would have the paint shop double check it with a paint gun just to be certain.
