Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

help with modding

that sounds sweet to me. full size intercooler price is whats gonna get me. i know to stay away from the ssic cuz it heat soaks. is there a alternative to the full size? I thought someone was making them cheaper on the forums?

the guy your thinking of was banned. His were similar to ssic design using different material that doesn't soak heat as much. There really isn't an alternative to zzp's or wbodystore's full-size kits. You would also need 42# injectors and modded fuel rails.

first dont get a gauge get hptuners then you can scan and change your computer...second if your getting the gen v get meth...its cheaper and you wont also need the fuel rail and all the other stuff needed for the intercooler. i was extremely pleased with the resolts i got from my devils own meth kit and its only 250 bucks or so

you wont get the same results as a fullsize vs. meth but, its also a 1/4 the price. Imo its stupid to use in a roots, gains are minimal, tuning is a pita, and doesn't run consistent.

i disagree...i had no tuning problems as long as your not stupid enough to run out of meth and run her past 85 on the highway then get off and try and race (you will be out of fluid) plus i saw considerable horsepower gains with the meth and its very easy to put in. i just dont suggest the meth to be shot preblower on a gen 3 but if hes thinking of a gen v then hes fine and will push more air

There's a guy on another forum I'm on making bar and plate IC's (what the thrasher IC was which was the most efficient IC ever make for our cars) for $1050 (full kit) which is a few $100 less than ZZP or WBody Store but only a few people are running them, htownse and William Stewart are the ones I know off the top of my head.

I never had any tuning issues with the meth. Easiest way to get rid of knock imo.

The only bad thing about E85.......availability. Closest to me is 5 miles, then it goes to 12 miles out....then it's on the south side of KC. :-/

Yea that's problem is I don't have anywhere close nuy to get e85 or that would be a option. How far can you go on e85 I mean modding wise? What's all needed to switch over to it?

Larger injectors, Possibly a pump depending on how moded you are, a pump rewire forsure, and a free flow fuel filter, and a tune

wow sounds like alot off stuff to get to just switch over to a different type of fuel. How far can you go on rockers and headers?
In the safely modding your 3800 it says with rockers you can drop a pulley size and with headers you can also.
Whats better modded stock rockers or roller rockers. i know the rollers are easier on the valvetrain. but is there much difference between 1.9 and 1.95? Im gonna go with rockers. but still thinking of intercooler later. just wish they were alil cheaper.

I heard it was a difference in the 20's.

Bottom right

im having 55 gallon drums mailed to me as the closest station to me is an hour and a half away

Yeah, that's a little much. I'm sure if it were closer to a lot of folks, it would be more accepted...but for 80% of the people out there, it's just not practical.
