Help with 99' Grand Prix

Hey my first post here, looking for some help with a 99' Grand Prix w/ a 3100 engine, auto too. I want to first say I always try to search forums first before posting, but I've got a couple issues so thought I'd post while I search. It appears to be a 94 - 97 3100 engine in the car, according to the Haynes manual and the intake that is on the engine, despite being a 99'. Guessing it's had an engine swap at some point.

I have a couple issues I'm trying to get straightened out:

1. Car had an intake coolant leak, I have it fixed now, but I have 1 vacuum port on the intake I can't find a home for. On the passengers side, rear of the intake. The manual shows it running towards the brake booster. Not the large dia brake booster port though, any help?

2. Has an electrical gremlin. The following electrical issues:
No reverse lights
No trunk lock via glove box button
Blower motor only work on 5 setting
Not turning over by the starter

I have a new battery in the car now, the one in it was toast. It has started, runs good too, but now it won't. I've fooled with the gear knob, and steering wheel, nothing makes it turn over. I took the starter in to be checked, it checks out fine. I thought perhapas a neutral safety switch, put in a new one and nothing. I checked power at the solenoid on the starter, it gets voltage when the key is turned. Yet it's not turning over. Ignition switch? I also tried a new resistor on the blower motor, but it didn't change a thing.

Thanks in advance!!!

The vacuum port on the back of the manifold..... which is very small.... has 2 options.

on some older vehicles..this vacuum actually controled the vents inside the car...via a single vacuum line. on newer vehicles it simply has a cap over it so it doesnt leak.

as for the electrial gremlins.... I would get a wiing diagram...and trace each wire. one by one. I am sure you might have some bare wire under the dash somewhere......

Good luck!!!!
