The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
did your key span driver install the keyspan assistant? if you got that, it needs to to all be plugged in makes sure the speed in the assistant matches the speed on dhp too.
Keyspan assistant? I dont think so. Ive taken a few scans before usually if its shorter then a few minutes it will save but if i take a 5minute or longer scan it will stop saving right at the very end.
check your programs list, your on win 7 right? what i got, its on both my pc's. it tells you want comm port your plugged into and its speed, makes life easy instead of trying every listed # on dhp till you hit gold.
ive tried both on high speed no dice for me, then tried it with one hi one low and it acted odd, made em both slow and bingo.
if you raise them to 5700 it will likely shift at 6000. you could go 6100-6200 but somethings gonna break like that. why push it to the moon?
theres one line for shift rpm, another for mph. if your less then 75% throttle it will shift at the mph, if your 75% to wot it will shift per rpms. so you need to figure out what mph you shift at for the 6000 rpm's. then change that line if you want.
Got rockers installed. Didnt take iy for a test drive yet but i did check start it. I got some smoke off the rear headers which i thought was just drips of oil from when i pulled the old pushrods out but then when i killed the motor i got a little hissing noise. So im going to double check the rear vc gasket tomorow just incase.
I ran 1.9 yt rockers on my last gtp with 105's and it really woke it up at higher rpm's. the hiss might be a bit of a vacuum leak, maybe the gasket didn't get set on there like it should have.
Thats what im thinking cause i just reused the gaskets that were on it since they were less than a month old after doing the swap but the rear gasket kept wanting to pop out. I should have used a couple dabs of rtv but i couldnt find it and was rushing haha
