Help tuning tcc using dhp! Flash kr problem.

Hey guys i have my topswapped tuned on 91 octane running 14.5* of timing. I have 0 kr going through the rpm range but if i smash on it and the transmission downshifts im getting bad flash kr around 8* sometimes more sometimes less. Ive read this is usually caused by the tcc not releasing soon enough. I have dhp tuner but i have no knowledge on how to tune the tcc. So anyone with some help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

in the tcc unlock table, list here the throttle percentages and speed that it currently shows.

in your 4th normal unlock table, lower the 234.xx down to 31.25 and see if that helps. if not then the lowest i'd go is 25%.

Ok i will try that as well thanks scotty. I dont know if it matters but i did notice i didnt get any flash kr from 2-1 downshifts justs 3-1 or 4-2

Ill have to run a scan tomorow but i think i tried that before and still got some kr it wasnt as bad like 3 or 4* but it still happens

I would have to look at the scan but ive monitered it with tpro and as soon as i slam it i get a half second of approximately 3.5* then it spikes to 7 or 8* for about 1.5 seconds then back down to 3.5 ish and then 1 and then its gone. From start to finish it probably 5 seconds of kr in total

Just a FYI, 3-1 and 4-2 downshifts are not good on factory parts inside the transmission. I wouldn't do alot of those if I was you.
Well i have been very easy on the car as far as downshifts go but i would rather figure out this issue so if for whatever reason im forced to mash on it i dont have to worry about blowing the motor.

im willing to bet its false kr, the tranny is what maybe taking a slow death.

A HD parts swap wouldn't change anything, only the diff and gear ratio is different. All the other parts like clutches/drums/input shaft are still the same between the two and both would suffer the same death. Better off just building a stronger unit.
