HELP: Starts then dies after LIM

Car is 2002 GTP. Just replaced the LIM gaskets, valve cover gaskets, tb gasket and injector o-rings. the engine is now back together and it starts up and less than a second after she stalls out. disconnected the maf sensor and car runs but at very high idle (2500-3000rpm) and stays at that speed. cleaned the maf, same issue. replaced the maf, same issue. also changed the iac valve. no change. i was thinking a possible vacuum leak however i sprayed starting fluid all around the intake, s/c and throttle body and the engine did not surge up in speed. if you have any suggestions please leave them because i am at my wits end with this.

update. car runs now with maf pluggin in but surges badly. if i spray starting fluid near the front of the supercharger it revs up. obviously i have a vac leak but its difficult to determine where exactly. i used a garlock sc gasket... i hope i dont have to tear this thing down again.

It's def. a vac leak then... I just had the same thing happen today but it was a loud whistle and turns out I blew out a bolt we used to cap the line on the tb, I guess 10+psi can do that.

Take the lines off and make sure they are not cracked or anything and put them back on, the fittings can crack easily. Anything you can do to narrow down the leak, could also take the lines off while the car is running and see if it changes anything after you put your thumb over each connection you take off.

took the supercharger off again and reinstalled with a thin coating on rtv on the sc gasket. put her back together and she still has the leak. im guessing this garlock gasket is the issue but this is rediculous

oh, throw a stock gasket on there and be done with it, garlocks suck ass from what i hear, never used one though.

Yup...that is the reason right there...it warps. They blow. I used one too, had a leak...go get a stocker for $20 or whatever at the local GM dealership. Good as new.

never had a problem with felpro, in fact they are identical to the factory ones

i use all felpro gaskets on my car and every car ive ever owned.
