Help Shaking when accelerating and makes a squeaking noise.

hi was having a similar prob with my 3.8l 2000 grand prix gt the same prob is happening shaking when accelerating but it is also making a squeaking sound which seems to be coming from one of the wheels or under the tire i'm not positive on it. any thoughts on what it could be? my biggest worry right now is getting the shaking to stop it is really bad.

im currently on a tight budget and don't want to fix that wrong thing so any advice would be much appreciated.

you can only hear it when you first press on the gas i would say about 0-15MPH after that it goes away. no notable sounds when breaking or turning. but it sounds kind of like when you are turning something or more specific when you like crank something up and it makes a squeaking sound like it needs to be lubricated or something.

is it possible this could be the tie rods i think is what they are called. got down and i can actually move the tires with my hand side to side.

yeah i don't really need to like try hard at all to move them. I'm pretty sure its the tie rods then its a cheap fix will prob get it done first thing in the morning.

Okay, you will need an allignment after you replace those.

I still dont think thats the squeak you are hearing.

I would say its likely in the brakes or a wheel bearing.

And as I had said in my first post the CV axles is a known cause for the shake on acceleration.

one more question so no one ever rides in the car with me. and i wanted my dad to get in the car so he could hear what i was talking about. keep in mind he is a big man about 250lbs. so when he gets in the car and i try and show him what im talking about the car wouldn't shake or make a squeaking noise. thinking maybe his weight was holding the tire in place. i'm hoping that mean its just bad tie rods. any thoughts?
