Car has a awful vacuum leak. did a smoke test and smoke was coming from bottom of EGR? I think thats what it is. Any help on how to replace and if wrong name or any other ideas would be great to! I added a pic to help show what im talking about. The leak is at the where the bolt and the line from manifold is.

Delete it.

Costs two cents and some RTV. Takes longer for the RTV to cure than it does hacking the gold tubes off after removing the EGR valve and the tubing.

As i re-read your answer. What is Two cents? do i need to open under to apply the rtv? Or just put some around the fittings?

cut the tubes off of the EGR and use the brackets that bolt onto the header and the LIM as your block off plates.

you'll need to RTV a coin in the holes where the tube sat before. or just JB weld them shut, whatever you feel comfortable with. tons of us have done this.
