Help on my dash plz

Hey guys well my head up display come on done from the spring. So i have read that i have to practically take my whole dashboard apart i am kind of affraid to break the plastic on my center dashboard where the radio is so what i was wondering is if anybody had a video or some tips that would help me take it apart that will make me a lot more comforatable taking it apart. :th_wtf: My car is a 2004 gtp.
 


if all else fails, go slowly and listen for odd noises and resistance.
tahts what i did before i took out my whole dash and center console.
 
I have a complete diagram on how to completely take apart your 04+ GP. it's 23 pages. Post ur E-mail and I will send it as an attachment. I got it off one of the guys here off the site, Great Stuff!

The plastic around the radio, DIC, HVAC controls just peel off. dont be afraid but FIRST you must take off the black ring around the ignition ( has the on, off, acc, start )... that plastic has little metal retainers that clip, don't be scared of it, also dont be abusful either, its still breakable...Once u've did it before, you'll be more confitable

Yeah my email is [email protected] shoot man this is such a relief i have been looking for this info, also i already took the ignition ring out thats where i started cause i had read of it before. I will be awaiting your email man thanks.:th_thumbsup-wink:
 


Hello, sorry for bringing this thread back from the dead, but I am new to the group, and I did a search for information first before posting blindly to the wrong format. I need to replace my heater core on my 2005 grand prix, and need to practically remove my dash completely as well. Could one of you, whitehispanic or offroardfury6 forward me that 23 page guide? my email is [email protected]. BTW, this is my very first post! Thank you all in advance!
