Help me rebuild. Need Speaker Experts.

Ok so im starting to redo my system. For the most part Im keeping my equipment i have. Just reinstalling.

Starting with front of car.

Door Speakers:
My big system was in my prix and had to swap everything over so to make it quick i used Prix(bose) speaker bods in the regal and regal pods went to prix.(mistake yes).

So about a year ago i installed some foam speaker baffles to help out a little. Come to present day about 2-3 months ago i decided to take my morels out and install some type r's i had layign around(never used). Made me redo my speaker pods. Long story short i have had it with the type r's there ok dotn get me wrong but they are missing quality i once had.

So now that i cant reuse my speaker pods i decided to make something up, And so i can also roll my windows down again.

These are 6" wooden rings(wood glue used). Should i use the 3 ring configuration with new foam speaker baffles OR use the 6 maybe 7 ring and completely seal off the speaker with all wood if i have enough space(door panel).

Now if i use speaker baffles again is it best to cut a small hole in the bottom for a vent. I have been reading and heard this is what i need to do????

you done nee to go through all that trouble. if you can get some dynamat put it on the outer skin of the door and use some more to seal up the inner skin as best as you can. then only use enough rings to clear the window track.

Update.

so got in an decided yo use the 3 ring configuration. Zip ties are there jsut for mocking purposes (L brackets will be used) The speaker clears the window and Also the door panel.

Now First problem we saw was the stock size of speaker grill is cutting a good 1/3 of the larger speaker so this is causing the sound to reverb back out. Solution?
Dremal + Time = Drilling out the reset of the blocked holes.

And finally the speaker pod itself. Speaker is mounted in a XTC Foam Baffle completely sealed with duct tape(fiberglass to expensive) Speaker is as tight, If you push down on the speaker it gives as much resistance as my sealed sub does. And you can see the bottom of baffle move. OR touch bottom of baffle and the speaker moves. Hooked it up jsut to hear it puts out some mad midbass very nice lows.

Again this looks cheap(it was) but it is very strong and sturdy.

Now the sounds is a night and day difference. I had my morels in the baffles before but were just dropped in and mounted between door and speaker.

For a while i used some type R components i got(going up for sale soon) Just to see what kind sound quality difference it was from my morels. Type r is just lacking all over the place for sound.

Bit back to getting everything installed again. WOW the rang and how tight the mid bass is. Even with sub off it sounds like there is a kick drum right in front of you.

I do want a new sub but going to sound deaden the inner doors too. But this is going to have to wait till it warms up again.

Now fun begins looking at new a new sub for sound quality. So far i have been looking at treo i have thought of a w6v2(JL) but over priced. I narrowed the sub amp down to a Zapco Iforce amp 500w
