Have a 05 grand prix gt there's a whistling noise coming through my air vent and my rpms go to 2 and then crash to about 8 and jumps back up anybody know what that could be ?

That's a solid sounding vacuum leak. Have you performed any service on the car recently?

huge vac leak, check the evap line off the TB for a crack.

TB = throttle body........not really a gp specific term.
