Chrysler and GM both taking the bailout has made me disappointed with them, but the new revamping of brand image has helped to alleviate my disappointment. Toyota recalls don't bother, recalls happen everyday, in much larger numbers and they happen, I still consider Toyota brand to be a very reliable car.

Yes, a shop has never touched one of my cars while in my possesion with the exception of my old Camaro for a coolant flush since the shop has a detergent stuff to clean the system out. (It was BAD, gummed up 3 thermostats in like a year)

- GTP is my 5th, not bad for 10yrs of driving, avg new car every 2yrs is about normal I think. Ive driven too many others vehicles to count. 10yrs driving, hundreds of cars of all types and brands driven... friends and family both... knock on wood, no wrecks to date, so I earned my trust to drive them

Most fun car Ive owned and driven was my 01 Mazda Miata but it was a pain to work on and needed about 100 more hp :th_laugh-lol2:, but top down, racking thru the gears, on a windy road is a blast

- Realistically Im sure you mean. I would probably go for an 08 Pontiac G8 or GTO... either would have to have the LS1 engine, be red in color, and preferably fully loaded. I just can't make up my mind which I would want more. No longer produced is of no concern to me, I just love the cars and that power plant (see previous F-body comment)

- Quite abit. I feel alot more negatively about GM as a whole. The CEO could have done so much to keep it alive but squandered away the funds and didn't seem to care. What use to be the number 1 vehicle company in the WORLD is now sitting towards the bottom of the totem-pole. Plus a factor that I work for them (Parts Salesman at the local dealership) gives a cause for concern as to what would happen to my job should there not be a turn around. I'm still a die hard Chevy fan, that won't change no matter what, but my view have swayed a little, I won't lie

- I have a desire to own several cars not on my GM list. #1 is my dream car since I was a child. Porsche 911... year ranges have changed a bit since my first look upon them but regardless they just seem to keep improving every year. While I would love to have a new one, I can hardly imagine the financial capabilities to afford a $200,000 car, much less anything else. I would like to buy a multitude of cars as toys and plan to as time goes on, so YES, yes I would.

- I do all the maintenance I can. I have limited supply of tools, but I do what I can. If its beyond my abilities I take it to the shop (Parts salesman at local dealership) and get one of the guys to do it for me in their spare time. This usually involves my lunch break being used while I help them and get a better understanding of how to do it myself next time. :th_thumbsup-wink:
