Help IGNITION KEY PROBLEM

sometimes my ignition key won't go all the way back and the key is stuck in the ignition I have a 2000 gtp, any ideas?:th_scratchhead:

I dont know if all GTPs have or not?but right underneith the colum the is an access hole and i put my finger in there and bend it towards the steering wheel and i can feel somthing like a spring,and i take and push up on it with the top of my finger and then it clicks so then im able to turn the key all the way back.the girl i bought the car from showed me this trick.gl man
