Help Identify A 10mm Bolt Missing Its Hole...

That really is very good.

One of the flip cars we did.. the heads and every other part was in the trunk. Little boxes and you name it. We dropped a fresh motor in, but some stuff is different/missing. I dumped it all in a pile on the floor (whole garage bay) and picked what I needed. Went well overall.

Turns out that was exactly what happened, the 2 bolts that hold the EGR to the block are the exact same thread as the ISS bolt and a little less than a 1/4" shorter than the ISS bolt. I found the other one that goes to the EGR under a pile of discarded and broken parts. So problem solved. Thanks again guys!

Logan... You never saw the threads I put up when I got bored? Stump BillBoost, literally asked people to post bolts and I'd tell them where they went. It's something you do after...you've worked on a platform too much.

I finally got my head off the motor/trans and thought about how someone may have done this differently that I would.

If that's the bolt I believe it to be.. he left the rack on the subframe when he lowered it.

I do remeber that and I must say it was fun, interesting and at times amazing :)
