help i need a spec

Gm doesn't use clutch pack clearances, install the correct amount of frictions and steels and you are good to go.

:th_liar::confused:anyone have clearance specs for 4t65e input clutch pack?

General rule is .008-.012 of clearance per friction. So if the input clutch pack has 4 frictions, you want their to be .032-.048 clearance. You can adjust this pack by getting a thicker snap ring if its a bit on the loose side. I personally run 5 frictions in my input clutch pack with thinner steels which are .050 instead of the stock .076.

For 2nd you can run the stock clutch pack tolerance but sub 2 of the standard .068 steels for 2 of the .090 steels.

For 3rd I run the stock raybestos z-pack

4th stock stack up as well.

I run all raybestos performance stage 1 (red) frictions for 1st, 2nd, 4th, which are great for higher torque/hp applications and still good for DD which is what I use my car for.

You'll want to mod your spacer plate too if your panning on pushing some major power
