Help guys! low beams wont turn on??

hey everybody, i recently just purchased a 2001 grand prix gtp a couple days ago and love the car. only real problem i have with it is that when i go to turn my lights on, my low beams dont turn on. my DRLs work just fine, but when i go to turn on my headlights my DRLs shut off and i have no low beams. park lights, signals, fogs, hi beams, everything else works just fine except for my low beams with the exception of my DRLs being on. it wouldnt even be a big issue to me if my DRLs would work at night, but they dont so i have to drive with only fogs which has already got me pulled over once. anyone have any similar issues or ever hear about this at all? i would love to get this fixed, any input is appreciated, thank you!
 


so, i replaced the headlight switch and no luck. luckily i got it from a junk yard so it only put me back 20 bucks, rather than the 200 bucks it would be for a new one. i looked a little more on google and seen something about the multifunction switch in the steering column, so im going to try that next.
