Help! Foglights wont come on!

SO last night I was over at a buddies and when I went there my headlights and fog lights were working perfectly fine. When i went to go leave it seemed rather dark and i notice my fogs weren't on. They both wouldn't turn on and the bulbs don't usually blow at the exact same time. Today i went to go check it out and the 10A fuse under the hood for the fog lights was blown. So we put in another one and went to turn them on and it blew again. I have 35w 5k fog lights that i have had for a year and this just now happened. Help? Thank you for the assistance :)

This happened to me once with my fog lights and it ended up being the power wire got kinda corroded and was shorting out on metal, causing it to pop the fuse each time. Assuming that you have a relay harness on your fog lights, I'd start by checking all the wires on that, that's probably your problem.

like what do you mean a relay harness?:/ lol i just have the ballast hooked up to the stock harness and then i had the jumper wire to keep my fogs on with my high beams. want to come help?:) lol jk

Hmm, never heard of a jumper wire to keep them on with your high beams. I always use a relay harness for my HIDs for the main reason that the crappy stock gauge wiring that comes on the GP, and a lot of cars, just isn't capable of handling the power draw the ballast requires. If you can wait till this coming Tuesday, I could probably stop by for a little to help out. If not, I'd start by digging around on all the wires for the fog lights. You could have shorted/melted wires together from the draw of the ballast. Check your ballast wires, the jumper wire, and the wires of the fog light harness on the car.

it depends on what time tuesday we are talking about because i have a double header out in clarkston that i have to be out there by 3:00 lol and what kind of relay harness could i get because i dont think i ever looked at one! woops

well if not hopefully my dad and i if we are free will fix it, but i will be taking it all out when i go to sell it in august and go into the new car;) but just let me know cause tuesday morning would be the best time seeing as i have baseball-_-

Unplug both ballasts from teh stock wiring. See if the fuse blows. Plug one in see if it blows. unhook that one and plug the other in..see if it blows.

Let's diagnose this. Likely something went bad and you need to replace it.

Well i went out there today and unplugged both and then replugged them back in and i got my passenger side to come on. Then I went to flip around the one connector to the ballast on the drivers side so i shut them off and turned them back on and nothing! i tried flipping them every which way and they wouldn't come on again. I checked the fuse after every time of turning them on and it did not blow at all like the other day. hmmm

Alright, fixed it before by getting new ballasts, and they have worked from then since, but tonight i went to get gas and realized they wouldnt come on again. So i get home and check connections and all seem good, went to the fog light fuse and swapped it, turned them on and they both came on and worked. I close it all up and check 1 last time and they are not working. What could be causing this because i have a relay harness?!? Thanks!

Checked the fuse, it is still good along with the relay and inline fuse for the harness. I swapped ballasts and tried plugging them in every way possible, but nothing! Any idea?
