• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I know what you're all thinking. Battery bad something of that sort but its not the case. I have an 02 Grand Prix gt with 124,000 on it. When I stick the key in and turn it to the on position no lights, or ding noises all I see light up is the "p" on the dash to let me know its in park. If I turn the key it cranks perfect but still no lights exc... I have to repeat thus process probably about a good 30 times or so before any dash lights light up. Then I still have to crank it a good 10 tines before it finally starts. After it starts and warms up a bit it will start back up first try. I replaced the ignition switch about 4 months ago because 1,2,3 on my blower motor weren't working witch fixed the issue but the one I bought was faulty upon installing because the key relese was already broke. I'm thinking that this is the issue again. So someone please chime in and give me some advice I'm really lost. And yes the ignition switch is still under warranty I just don't want to replace it for nothing if this is a common problem that can be resolved easily.

Ok just making sure thanks! Also I noticed that you have a cat back exhaust my cats about to die and I was told that if I delete the cat t will give me horrible gas mileage any idea if that's true or not?

Your car will have a cat diagnostic that will run but I think so long as you keep your rear o2 you'll be ok.

yep just keep the rear o2 in it and it wont run the cat diagnostic test all the time but it will set a ses light unless u use a o2 sim or remove the o2 out of the direct stream of the gases
