help car has a light tick

my gtp has a lite tick and i dont no what it is. should i even worry about it? also how do i fix the hood scoops they wont stay on i have two holes right now

The hood louvers...they have little clips that hold them on...check those from underneath the hood though, I saw a few in the junkyard and they looked kinda cheapy IMO...maybe look on fleabay for some new-er ones?

The ticking noise...more info please or a video even...for a quick fix put in some Lucas Oil Stabilizer which you can get for like 7 or 8 bucks at Autozone or O'Rielly's...just add it to your oil and it quiets it down A LOT.

Try using a thinner oil. The oil has to go through alot to get up into the cam carriers/lifters. If you are using 5W30 already try 5W30 Mobile1 or royal purple synthetic. I noticed a difference when I went to synthetic in the ticking of the lifters on my LQ1.
