Help 4t65e HD problems

Had trans rebuilt Oct 2011 slipping in all gears. One month later it was making grinding noises. Repair shop went through it and said differential was bad. Two months later same problem diff was again replaced. One month later same problem, It has been at the trans shop for two months now. This is a '99 GTP I found this is a unique trans to this year of car the shafts have a larger spline and step down. so nothing is interchangable. Found a GM rebuilt but came to find out the shafts would not fit. Any suggestions. I am about ready to buy a used trans to get the car going. I have delt with this shop for twenty years and never a problem.

I think the best suggestion would be to find find another repair shop that is willing to find the problem rather than just throw parts at it.
 
There isn't anything specific to 99 on the shafts. They are all the same 98-03 as are the diffs for the HD trans. 97 was the oddball year that used a different output shaft and clip to the diff.
