Where can I get the battery load tested? I have it out of the car just don't know where to take it. Autozone, a parts store, or do I need to take it to a mechanic's shop?

I thought so. the dumb a$$ women working there said they didn't do load testing. I knew she was just to idiotic to know what I was even talking about. I swear how do people that stupid get a job there. Thank you.

I left my battery there for them to charge and when I went back to get it they said they couldn't charge it because it was swollen and leaking. It wasn't swollen or leaking when I left it there. So I was like okay well it is under warrantee I would like a new one. Just so happens their system was down. They sent me to another autozone down the road. When I got there and tried to look up my warrantee info it was no where to be found. It's total bs. I can't afford a new battery right now. I am so boned.

Find your receipt, you should have that or a credit card statement. This isn't all on Autozone, sure sometimes the have less than knowledgeable people working but what place doesn't these days. Get yourself a file folder for each vehicle you have and store every receipt. Parts nowadays are all junk, all of them. Nothing is made to last. You will need your receipts or will be paying multiple times for parts under warranty. Hope you get this resolved, if not learn from the lesson.

Nowadays receipts for important somewhat pricey parts get stored in a envelope in the glovebox or I just stick to ordering online and picking up in store that way if I need to I'll just cycle through the emails and find the order number
 


^^^Or at the least take a photo with your smartphone and save a copy, maybe even email yourself a copy of the receipt & save it.
 
Well I got it running. Autozone worked with me and hooked me up with a new battery. I also took the fuse box out totally cleaned it and put dioelectric grease on every contact. Then I took the battery wires and cut them back to nice new wire, and cleaned every single ground I could get to. Thank you all for your help.

Just for the future, you do not need to cut the battery cable to get the sensor off. You must take the negative cable off the car completely and then pull the cable through the sensor.
 


Cutting it just adds more problems later on. Better off just pulling the cable and doing it the right way and cleanly so you can avoid future BS. You don't want W-body problems devouring your life.
