Hey, I just signed up, and figured I'd say a quick hello and introduce myself. My name is Melody, I'm 25, and have a '98 Grand Prix GTP. I bought it a year ago after drooling after one a couple of summers ago. The car was a one owner, a female, who didn't drive it at all, it was too fast and she hated it being a coupe. (Why she bought a GTP new and didn't have fun with it is insane.) So now I reap the rewards. *grins* I like to do my own damage, thanks ;) I had a Bonneville prior, and like the solidness of cars that don't break easy, and when they do they are easy to fix. So another GM car was high on my list and low and behold, I scored.

I want to fix it up as I will be coming into some cash, and I want to put money into her to make her in tip top shape and power. So that has led me here.

Seeyah around! :th_winking:

Well aren't you all a friendly bunch. :th_winking:

02gpgt88: Yes, it is a frog lol. I like frogs. I tried to make a car, and it looked like an '80's limo, lol. I have no mods, and not a fancy paintshop girl so mr frog is there.... I could try to put a cute pink ribbon on it later, make it even better ;) lmao

Spartangl: Yes taxes are nice, last year I bought the car with 'em, now I got $$$ to put into it, I think next Friday :)

gpgo: I only go with 93 octane. And nicely, right when I bought it last year, was when gas started to drop. I live near Albany, NY last fill was $3.04/gal, I recently moved back here, but remember being in the south two summers ago and paying $3.99/gal for 87 octane. That's when I first fell in love with a GTP, and it was at a dealer with ridiculous miles and pricing, so obviously I didn't get it, but it was fate I guess, cuz I move here and scored the car I wanted, at the condition, mileage, and price I wanted.
