Hey, how's it goin?
I'm new here and just wanted to say hello and tell you a lttle about myself.
I am a guy, mid thirties, father of two girls. I reside in IL. just to the west of Chicago in a town called South Elgin.
For a living I drive semi trucks, specifically Lowboy transport and dumps for the construction industry and have been doing this for about 15 years.
I recently purchased a used 2002 Grand Prix GTP, this being the car I've wanted for about the past 5 years or so I am completely psyched and have found that there are many others that share the same enthusiasm about their rides as I.
I posses little or no knowledge as to what makes these supercharged motors run so well, but I am a fast learner and look forward to picking up all the secrets you here have to share....other than flushing out all the garbage DEX COOL (orange) coolent and replacing it with new extended life (yellow) coolent, I have not yet made any mods to my car but plan to start by switching my thermostat to a 180. hopefully soon after I will switch to an after market air intake assembly then follow up by changing my exhaust downpipe to a 3 inch.....eventually upgrading my entire exhaust.
There are many other ideas I have but this I'll share at a later date when I have made more progress..... as I said before I am a complete novice so any suggestions or input you have is greatly appreciated.
