• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I have a 02 Grand Prix and my sway bar is broken....can I take it off until I buy another one? Is this safe? What will happen....

youll be just fine with it off in the meantime. replace it with a dorman sway, it's solid metal vs the hollow ones that come stock. Dorman 927-100

leave it in there broken till you buy a new one, then swap it. if its making noise take the end link off and remove the broken loop on the bar if its not already broken off.

it helps some to lower the rear sub frame 2 inches or so to clear the brake lines on the driver side where the cap bolts are.

dorman bars run 100 ish, depends on where you buy it. also get some polly bushing for the mounts, the dorman kit comes with new bushings but they really do suck, mine are year old and they need to be replaced, both sides are torn up and clunking. the end links seem to hold up ok so far.
