I'm on my third Grand Prix (01 purchased new 8-01)—guess that makes me an enthusiast. It's been my DD since I traded my 99 GT in for it. If I ever wear this one out, I'll replace it with another Pontiac. Prior to GPs I've owned 5 Alfa Romeos, 2 MGs and assorted boring cars. I like what I see on this Forum, I appreciate the welcome.
 




Welcome from Kennesaw! Where are you located? I'm near Pine Mtn and Stilesboro. Shoot me a PM if you want to get together some time. I'm on my 2nd GP. I bought my GTP new in November 2001 and had a 1990 SE before that. The SE was a 3100 with a manual 5 speed, which was pretty rare and fun to drive.

To Spockssilver02, I too live off of Stilesboro road, closer to the Battlefield Park. I'll keep an eye out for you. And I didn't know there was such a thing as a manual GP in 90. Wish there was one now.

Oh, but there IS!!! One six speed manual swapped by njbrain and his friends was just finished this past month
 


I had no idea they made one either until I ran across it in a dealer lot. It was a great car. I put over 280,000 miles on it without any major problems. The stock clutch lasted almost 180,000. It held up so well I bought the GTP.

Say hey if you get the chance. And if you ever need any help with the car just let me know.
