I just purchased a 2000 GTP Daytona 500 edition for myself. At least that's what I thought at the time. Once my wife drove it she decided it was hers and told me to find something else. I still get to add all the mods that I wanted but she gets to drive it most of the time.

Talk about being confiscated. My wife is about the same. She drove my GTP for a while and later told me that if it didnt have so much power she would love it. So I offered to buy her a GT but then she got wrapped up in wanting a cross over utility or small SUV vehicle.
 


I had test drove a daytona with 35K miles on it when I lived back in Ohio. I LOVED IT!!!, when I went down to pick it up the next day...they sold it. I was bummed!!

Your car looks incredible!!! well let me refraise that...her car. now find yourself another one!!!

I live in Louisville, had the same issue with my wife so I went out and bought her one too! Hers is the black one.

I would rather have a few older cars that fit my needs and not have a payment than have a new car with a huge payment. Right now we have a 99 Chevy Tahoe to pull the car trailer when we buy wrecks to rebuild, a 99 Honda Accord to drive when we do running and need to get several people in and out alot, a 76 Trans Am that I am doing a restomod on, an 01 Harley Davidson Sporster 1200 Custom and last but not least the GTP.
This way i have several choices and no payments.

Welcome man. Sounds like we all have the same problem. Wife tried to take over my GTP, then my truck, so I bought her a GT. She's happy now, but wants a minivan. NOOOOOO!!!! And wants to trade the GT for it. I THINK NOT.
