• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hi folks, this is my first post here. Actually I just found this site last week. My family and I have a long history with Pontiacs thanks to my late father. He had a couple of 1965 Grand Prix's and he was always impressed with the performance of those cars so after that he always bought Pontiacs. Between my three brothers and myself, we had GTO's, Firebirds, and Grand Prix's. I currently have a 1974 Grand Prix that I bought in 1983 and a 1994 Grand Prix that I bought in 1997. I also have a 1970 GTO convertible that I bought in 1987. Currently the GTO is off the frame and will be rebuilt in the pro touring form. The 1994 Grand Prix has sat in the driveway for the last year. It needs some work now and this car holds so many memories for me with my daughter and all the places we traveled in it, that I can not break my ties with it. Instead I started researching how to make the necessary repairs and where to buy the parts. I have learned that my car could have some other options too, like the DIC and a HUD, both of which I have started looking for.
I am so impressed with the cool Grand Prix pictures I have found on this site that I am really motivated to bring this car back to its former beauty. When I do I will post pictures and share my experience with this forum. I feel that the knowledge shared on this forum helps to motivate members into fixing their own cars which is great because that means more Grand Prix's will survive. Since they are not being built new, this means that everyday in the world looses Grand Prix's through accidents and age. I want to keep mine as long as possible.
Thanks to all who share information ab out these great cars.

Welcome! Great back story, and good to see someone trying to hang on to a Gen 1 w-body. Definitely need to post some pics of ALL the cars!
