Heater stopped blowing

On my way home I had the heat on and the blower motor just stopped blowing it will not work no matter what number I put it on. What should I look for fuse, relays, the switch that controls blower speed, or the blower it self?

Blower motor resistor and/or motor itlself. A PITA to change, do a search and you should find several posts. Very common porblem on the GP.

same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago and it was the blower motor. $65with a lifetime warranty. it could be either tho really. its not the hardest repair every but its definitely a pain in the ass

Where is the resetor located and is there any way to bypass it and run power directly to the blower motor to check if the blower motor still works

Run the 2 BM wires to a battery. Black goes to negative. More than likely you have a passenger side water leak as well, also a common problem. Water leaks through the BM compartment taking the resistor and motor with it....

Also, There's a fuse for the #5 speed. That's probably blown as well. Open the glove box and that's where your fuses are....

I thought my problem was my resistor but it turned out that the motor was dead and my resistor was fine.

Fortunately I figured that out before ordering anything.

What fuse is the #5 Speed fuse
If you have your owners manual it's in there. If not here it is. Open the glove box and on the right side you can pull the box cover off and there.s your fuses. It's on the very last row on your right and it's the 4th fuse down from the top. It's called HVAC HI.

Cam anyone post me a link on how to replace the blower motor and resestor. My hvac hi fuse is fine so I thought it must be the blower or resitor then but can not get this thing out and don't even see the resistor
