Heater prob

It's the blower motor I believe. I got the car and the only way to turn on the heat was to put in the fuse and it only turns on full blast. Well this morning I come to turn it on and it sqeels loud. I would like to get this fixed so I don't hve to keep plugging in a fuse to turn heat or ac on

If it only works on full blast then I say the blower motor resisitor is bad, and if the blower motor itself is now making noise, go ahead and replace both.

Now replacing them is a pita right

from what ive heard its not to bad, its under the pass side dash. a lot of people have changed them, used blowers seem to be the way to go as they are not cheap new.

if you have water leaks when it rains that could have caused the fan to croak on you.

They arent too bad. I'm a skinny guy and didnt have much trouble down there.

Yeah the motor can't be to hard it's the resistor. What explains the fact I gota use a fuse though. I dnt mind it being on full I just hate puttin the fuse in to turn it on
