Heater blowing weird...

Hey guys I got an 03 prix and the heater blows hot but recently has been acting funny, it will blow like it's on 5 than blow likes its on 3 and will fluctuate between the two, before the heat would only blow if you put the switch to the 3 setting, it wouldn't work on 1 or 2 but 3,4,an 5 did work fine so I didn't care till now...i was thinking of just replacing the the whole unit but if anyone else has had problems with this plz chime in, I'd hate to buy a new dash unit and it not be the problem, oh and the clock display doesn't work either. Thanks guys
 


There is a mini-lamp for the radio time display which burns out. The dash panel and radio have to be removed to replace it. The part # is 16208443 available at the dealer. Cost approximately $8.00. Once the radio is out you remove the face of it and the top panel and the bulb is located right behind the LCD panel. Should twist out of the circuit board (be careful as this can be brittle). Then just pop the new one in and test it BEFORE you put the entire dash back together.
 
thanks guys i shoulda did some searchin b4 i posted cause it seems like a common prob, as for the radio light thanks! it kinda sucks having to guess what radio station im tuning to
