Heated Seat Issue

I've got a 99 GT Coupe with the heated leather driver's seat. It worked fine until this winter. I'd turn it on, and after a couple of minutes, the seat bottom would get so hot, I'd have to shut it off, so as not to burn my arse. :eek: This happened whether it was on high or low. Now, as of last week, it doesn't work at all. Any suggestions?
 


Never wet to my knowledge. I've had the car for 8 years, and it worked fine up until this winter.

Just to update- the seat has been working off and on. Could it be a bad connection somewhere?
