Heated/cooled cup holders

How hard would it be to install heated/cooled cup holders. Something kind of likes these. I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS I think this would be a cool mod to do. I have a idea I just wanna see if someone else has done this or may know of someone who has. If someone has done it how hard was it to do? Thanks

I don't think the heating/ cooling unit would be cheap by any means. As far as Install, it shouldn't be too complicated since the units are all electric. Some plastic or whatever they are made of may need to be trimmed and custom fabbed together to make it fit right.
 
SPDT has one contact, two positions. (single pole, double throw)

DPDT has two contacts, two positions. (double pole, double throw)
 
well, you'd need two switches anyway unless you wanted one single rocker switch that did all three (heat, off, cool), in which you'd need a triple pole, triple throw switch.
 


In-case you aren't aware, the electric drink coolers will not cool an already warm drink. They just prevent a cold drink from warming up as quickly.. but not by much.
