headlight restoration

has anyone used that meguiars head light restoration kit?
my headlamps arent yellow or ''tanned'' but they are pretty scratched up.
i just wanted to know if anyone has used this to remove scratches.
i dont want to go through the sanding and all that of the video i seen here, i just wanted to remove some of the scratches.
any help?

depends on how deep the scratches are, if they are very deep, you wont be able to sand them out, if they are just light light, you probably could though

I don't think they are deep. They look like little surface scratches. But I still want them out

i said the heck with it and bought some used black OEM capsules off a user from this forum. Got em for 100 bucks, and they are clear



but i got a 2002...
