• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

headlight patter alignment.

are the patters supposed to criss-cross? or be straight forward...my headlights have a huge gap between the inside of the housing and bumper...

They're supposed to be straight forward. If you have projectors, you won't be able to adjust them so they're straight forward without creating ridiculous gaps (or jamming the edge of the sidemarker into your fender).

I thought the lights were suposed to be a touch to the right, as not to blind oncoming traffic. but either way NO huge gaps.

I think @ 100 or so yds your low beams should just meet each other. Just chiming in here. would love to see what everyone else has to say.

No. The left hand side is supposed to be a little lower, to not blind oncoming traffic.

riceburner: There are two tabs on the back of the bracket that need to fit into the metal bracket on the car. One of them is easy to miss. If both of these aren't inserted, you could wind up with huge gaps, and a lot of shaking. Even at full adjustment, I don't think I could get huge gaps from the stock headlights.

The only other thing I can think of is the bulbs. Do you have HID? If so, the focal point could be off slightly.

Check your bulb. It may have come unseated or the filament support may have moved in the glass. Something is very wrong there...

crap.....guess the headlight is just fubar then...cause the bulbs are fine....guess its just time for new projectors!!!

Pay close attention to the metal ring at the back of the housing. Be sure it is fully seated to keep the plastic retaining ring tight to the bulb base, and the bulb base tight to the housing.

It's possible, that the two screws holding the capsule to the HL brkt., have stripped out, or come loose, allowing the capsule to be misaligned.
