I need new headlight & fog lamp assemblies due to oxidation. Its not completely bad but i just want all brand new assemblies.

I found the cheapest on Amazon but i just get this gut feeling that i shouldn't order from them, not for these kinds of things. But i did a little bit of searching and found all assemblies in pairs. I just want the cheapest so if anyone can beat these prices here, PLEASE post links.

Those things are junk.... The housing bracket is Weak... Headlights will bounce while ur driving.I went to junk yard and disassembled some headlights just for the bracket. Bought new housings for them.
 
Look for some diamond blue blazer tec/tek fog or driving lights. Not made any more and are pretty hard to find but they pop up on ebay some times. Its more of a white than blue light.

I dont want anything from a junk yard, i want them brand new. And ill still have my old 1s with the brackets that are fine so i can disassemble the old 1s and put on the new.

Well there ya go then!! Just use your oem bracket, get new head light and corner housings...
 




heres a theory for you.. you get what you pay for... nothing compares to OEM headlights and brackets, meaning factory sealing of the headlight housings preventing condensation, etc... i learned my lesson the hardway... my brother is an auto body collision tech guy in which he deals with OEM and aftermarket.. and almost every time, customers come back complaining of the aftermarket items, therefore the company has to file the claim through insurance, and insurance companies have to fork over the money for OEM... and he told me buying aftermarket parts will fail... sure as s#!+, he was right.. i bought head light assemblioes for my '01 GT from Auto Lighthouse on EBAY... and i got screwed through BOTH sets of my lights... first set of lights didnt even fit!!!!.. so i sent them back... got a new pair... CONDENSATED WHILE I WAS INSTALLING THEM!!!.. sent them back.. then when i called them.. here are their exact words... "when you get the new lights, be sure to use clear silicone around the seam so you can prevent condensation"!!! are you kidding me?? your telling me to silicone a BRAND NEW set of lights that i just bought from you, therefore voiding my warranty on them??? well in any event, the new lights condensated as well... on top of that... they dont even fit right.. i had to adjust them so much, that there is a larger then OEM gap from the corner of the lights to the inner grille... i am now saving up the money to buy OEM lights.. lesson learned...

but this was just my experrience.. hopefully yours wont be that bad...
 
Not to be a douche here, but its not hard to fix them IF they end up getting condensation in them.

I've had my set for over 9 months now, never had a sinlge issue, fitment is fine and everything lined up, and if you are really concerned about fitment just swap the housing into your stock bracket and bam good as new.

And for 60 bucks its a steal compared to forking over a crap ton for new OEM lights.

Just say they end up getting condensation in them, take the capsule and bake it in a oven for 5-10min at 200º F ish and pull the lense off the capsule and get some sealant and seal them yourself and if you want to go a step further, drill a small 7/62nd hole in one of the corners in the front to vent air out and prevent future problems.

IMO its still a better option than OEM

no offense taken... this is an internet forum with open and constructive crticism..

but for buying something brand new, weather its 60 bux or 160 bux.. i should not have to do anything to them to either fix condenstaion, or prevent it.. i didnt pay for a problem.. i paid to fix a previous problem i had... and i did the factory bracket swap.. i still had problems... i guess chalk it up to a bad ebay store... this was just my experience with things... out of the thousands of cars on the road.. and thousands of aftermarrket parts.. something is bound to go wrong at some point... that something, was my head lights and corner lights..

but like i said.. lesson learned for me...
