Headlight assembly replacement??

I need to replace the highlight assembly on my '97 GTP so bought some one-piece "halo" looking ones of the internet. Not too impressed with all the plastic brackets, but they looked good. :th_tongue2: Up until I got pulled over the by Highway Patrol asking why the heck I was flashing my lights at all the drivers, as if I was running the Autobahn. These things were rattling all over the place and looked like the flashing lights on his patrol rig. Needless to say, they're packaged up and heading back to the company.

So before I go through another effort in futility, can any one here recommend a better headlight system and give me your thoughts on the best way to go?

Thanks All!!

we got guys here who build and sell retro fit projector head lights, you should check them out. i drive a regal so i dont follow your best brands for appearance mods and body parts much.

Ya retrofits are the way to go for the best light output. If you don't want to spend more money though there are modifications people do that stop the bouncing on those. If you search it on the forum I'm sure you'll find several threads about it.

You can buy new stock headlight assemblys on ebay for like 60 bucks shipped if your old ones are all foggy and moisture filled. Then all you have to do it reuse your stock mounting bracket because the ones that come with the new lights are POS and bounce like the crappy projectors you just sent back. Thats what I did and I have 0 bounce, I did the doucher move and put HIDs in them and am probably going to take them out soon or spend the dough on some retros like somedude said.

We have a guy that does retrofits on here and if very well know for amazing work. Plus until the 2nd of September his retrofits are 15% off! His name is Classy Pontiac if you wish to PM him but he has a thread you can see his work and prices. Or you can take a crack at it yourself we have a few how to threads about it.
