Header Install this weekend.





Well Im gonna have to cut & weld then to make the front header actually not hit my trans or sell them on ebay, either way, more than I want to deal with them for right now. I advise no one buy these unless you like welding and cutting and cursing, nothing more depressing than tearing your car down to install them and then realizing you have to put it back the way it was because some ****ing retard cant build a set of headers to make them fit for his ****ing life!
 
Well yeah, but all ( ok fine ) most headers do, and people with 04+ have installed them, these are just plain made wrong Terry. The fron collector hits the trans and the crossover is 3 inches from where it should be, Im just gonna have a local shop put mine on... and cut and weld them of course
 
Gotcha. I was thinking of them for mine, but if they're giving you that much trouble, I am sure they would on mine too.
 


me too, I dunno now that I own them I think I will just have them made to fit, but its going to be a heck of a job.
 
i had to put the exhaust back to stock after i tried putting on the pacesetters the first time (keep hitting the radiatior fan) second time went with out a hitch tho. i had no problems with them then (made a few adjustments) 04+ is the same as 97-03 im pretty sure, same block, same tranny, a few connectors are in few different places but basically the same.

hopefully the exhuast shop can get it squared away for ya :D
 


In no way, shape or form would I even consider recommending these pile of crap headers to anyone. They suck so bad it's not even funny.
 
Never messed with the obx's....but save your money. The time alone we put into doing all this only to put everything back on is enough to irritate me.
