Header hitting sway bar and power steering lines

Well, the headers werent touching anything anymore, and then engine didnt jerk around under hard breaking/acceleration. Stuff like that.
 


Because nobody makes them, I've decided to construct my own poly-urethane motor mount (the under the motor mount).

Step 1 - Get a stock fluid filled motor mount.

Step 2 - Cut the corners out, drain the fluid, and clean insides with some carb-cleaner or something of the sort.







Step 3 - Acquire 1 pound of Shore 94 urethane, mix, and pour









Step 4 - Let cure for 7 days. Install and enjoy!

I got the urethane from mcmaster.com It was shore 94 hardness. Harder than ZZP's poly under motor mounts.
 
i ended up buying one from oreillys. its a solid one. I will do this with a hydraulic one after i order all the stuff. but i needed one right away so i had to get it.

The one that was in there was completely toast. After getting this one in there the motor still barely and i mean minute, leans still. It might just even be my eyes are used to seeing it lean that way but in reality it isnt. who knows. tranny mount is the next step.
 


Forgot to mention... One of the fastest S/C'd Buick Regal is using this type of motor mount with no issues. He's the one that told me about how to make it.
 
is the transmission mount a hydraulic mount as well? if so, what about cutting the sides out of that and making it a poly mount?
 
i forsee no knock or false knock i should say. got my new poly dog bone mounts in today and wow this engine doesnt move any where. no movement what so ever. Had a bad exhaust leak. the dp gasket was toast. also flipped the sway bar and have about an inch clearance now and about an 1/2 an inch clearanence from the power steeering lines.

I've got some crazy clunking going on and I think it's my control arm bushings. I have a set of new moog arms waiting to go on and I really want to flip my sway bar while I'm at it. I was checking it out the other day and it definitely looks like it's hitting/rubbing the flex pipe because I can see a little damage there.
How hard was it to flip and is there a write-up anywhere?
 
what is the benefit of flipping your sway bar, besides the above obvious of it not hitting/ rubbing on things. would you lose any performance in the suspension or gain?
