Coolant elbows you can nab up at your local parts store in the HELP! section for like 3-4 bucks.

VC gaskets/grommets...I'd also get from your local auto parts store...Felpro's.

yes you are right about the elbows.. i did order them separate

I'm not sure about the valve cover grommets.. i think i read they come with valve cover kits when you order (like they automatically come with VC kits)??? maybe they are different. this place is supposed to be one of the best places to get parts for these cars... you would have thought they would have thought of that..??

what kid of VC gaskets where they?? did they come in a felpro box? did they have the grommets with them when you ordered from this company?

ZZP IMO has the worst gaskets in the business. However you didn't ask about quality or fitment. I have pics of those gaskets not fitting in a VC. 05CompGman threw his out when I showed him in person the fitment. Overall, I dislike the fitment of almost all ZZP gaskets. Dunno where they get their "gm intake gaskets" but they don't fit the same as the GM gaskets I get from dealerships. Once you take off the VC, you'll understand how the bolts have sleeves that bottom them out. Therefore the grommet putting pressure on the cover, is what helps seal it. Worn out grommets will likely cause new gaskets to leak.

Overall the VC gaskets are too short. However they fit perfectly in ZZP's metal valve covers.

I prefer to use the common part numbers and goops thread that I posted. Then go online to say Advance Auto and use discount codes etc for the best deals.
