Congratulations! Ironically, we also have a son named Brian Matthew and I aslo own a 2008 GXP! Very Cool. Although I'm a lot older than you...my Brian is 21!
 
Thanks everybody. The wife and I are still in awe of the fact that he's finally here. I'll freely admit that I cried like a little girl when I saw him for the first time...had to pull myself together so that I could actually see to cut his umbilical cord.

We named him after a dear friend of ours who passed away from pancreatic cancer last December. We found out that we were expecting shortly after we found out that he was ill, and he died four days after we had our first appointment with the obstetrician. After a lot of long hard thinking we decided that if it was a boy, we would abandon the name we had originally agreed upon in our early discussions about children and name our son after our friend.

Now for the really ironic part..... our friend's birthday was also July 8th.
