Hi my name is Kristi and I drive a 2007 pontiac grand prix gt with supercharged engine. I was told by my local dealership that I have a bad MAP sensor. Could someone tell me or show me a pic of where it is located? I have googled it and can not find anything. Any help would be very helpful. Thanks

Back side of the supercharger if where you find them.

The one with the vacuum line attached to it is the MAP sensor, the other is a BARO sensor.

Thank you so much for the info.....I replaced my MAP sensor and just wanted to confirm that I put the part in the correct place which I did with that being said it has not helped. My motor light is still on and car is still hesitating....what else needs to be done in order for the part to work???? I am trying to save some money by doing it myself....Thanks in advance

double check the vacuum harness from the end of the LIM to the sensor, the connector T does like to rott away/crack and leak causing that code, sensor may have been fine if its a vac leak

I do not know what the code is I was just told by my local dealership that it need a new MAP sensor and it needed the motor cleaned out from the carbon monoxide build up and they were gonna charge me 400 to 500 dollars. I can't afford that

you didnt clear the code, so its still there. un hook the battery for 30 minutes, this will reset the pcm and clear the code, if the light comes back on, get it scanned again, then get the code on paper.

Where is the LIM? Any pics would be great......thank you again for all the help. Yes I'm a woman and I'm trying to learn as I go

lim, lower intake manifold. its under the upper intake the top most part of the engine under the cover. theres a loop of vac lines that can break.

why its best to have the code, map can have at least 2 different codes, each lead you in a different direction for its repair.

the map is the one that has the plastic vac line to it, the baro looks just like it, hells its the same part # even, but only the one with the vac line to it is the map sensor.
