has anyone painted a transmission?



id paint it black or silver, or to match the engine, you dont see much except for the bell housing but you can really see it.
 
Black would be my first vote then silver. I prefer black since if grease/oil gets on it I don't have to be in a rush to clean it versus silver.
 


Painting black can hide leaks etc.

When given the choice..I stayed with stock aluminum no paint. Easy to maintain, never needs a touch up and the hood is closed.
 
paint it like lime green or a bright orange.... that way someone will just see bright colors and be like wft??
 
i mean if your gonna go though the trouble of painting it dont just settle for black or silver...everyone who paints there trans does that..make it different and make it stand out
