harmonic balencer blow out?

Alright heres the deal im at the gas station and suddenly there is this clicking kinda noise coming out of my engine i get out and look it sounds like its coming from the belt area.
I drive home like 3 blocks and it stops when not at idle turn the car off and look under hood the rubber on the harmonic balancer looks like part of it exploded and it wasnt like that before .

My question is about the new balancer for sale on rock auto the one by acdelco says new key required. so i cant use the old one?

also any tips or would be great because iv never changed one before.

Thanks in advance.

I simply pull them and replace. Although there's very few SII motors that I've seen them degrade on. Probably because they aren't quite as old as the Si's that seem to go.

If you want to save a little, I have 2-3 laying around that I'd toss one at you super cheap.

one like this, but go to autozone or advance etc....They are like 15 bucks there then go to the hardware store and get 3 grade 8 1/4-20 bolts that are like 100mm long.

thanks for the offer bill but i already ordered one
and i will deff piece together my own puller thanks for the specs

should get all parts in the next few days ill let u know how it goes.
wish i had the money for a cam since ill be down there anyway

Technically the puller bolts are M6 x 1.00 x 80mm (if you go longer on a GP, you tend to have the body int he way. The 1/4's will work fine because the overall threads etc are close.

My shelf hates that you already bought one.

my self hates that i already bought one also
i understand that there is more to a cam than balancer, springs, retainers, timing chain just sucks that ill be down there looking at it and cant change it

got it fixed ended up using 1/4-28 bolts the m6s wouldn't thread all the way in and did not try the 1/4 20s
