Harmonic balancer pulling



Everyone is having problems with these damn things the past few days, myself included.

I'm assuming you're still working on the bolt. Remove and or partially break the plastic around the starter where it meets the flywheel. Hold the flywheel with a solid (craftsman is the best I've tried so far) Screwdriver or I've heard vicegrips.

From there try a breaker bar, if that doesn't work, try an impact. If that doesn't work... put the breaker bar somewhere it'll be solid, plug the battery back in and turn the key to ignition and it should come off from what I've heard.
