hard start

I have a 97 gtp when i start it it makes a rough noise then stops. I think its the pulley system when it first turns it turns hard and suggestions?
 


have you tried turning the pulleys to see if any of the bearings feel damaged?

It could be as simple as your grounds or your starter/battery is getting old.

Battery being charged?
 
Could be the A/C compressor. Like it was suggested, take both belts off and start the car for a minute. If the problem goes away then check everything that turns until you find the issue. Just don't run the car long as you are not going to be turning the waterpump or anything else.
