Halo/ Projectors

i bought some halo projector headlights off of ebay and im not too sure where i should hook up the wires for the power to the halos.
I tried the fog lights but they have hardly any power.
Does anyone know for sure or have a good idea of where i should hook them up to

depends on how you want them wired...

some people have just grounded the black wire to the frame and splices the red wire into the hot wire on the parking lights or fog lights...

me personally, i used a seperate switch so i could turn them on or off at will (like when the headlights are on, you cannot see them, so i turn them off. and night time car gatherings i can turn on ONLY the angel eyes with no other lighting...)

to do this you will need a switch, and inline fuse, and extra wire... if you want to do this lemme know and i will try and explain what i did
found this quote on another thread in here

Mine are wired to the parking lights and the halo's are not that bright.
ROTTMAN's are wired to the fogs and his appear much brighter than mine.
I think by looking at his projectors, they are not the same lights.
I guess just try wiring the halo's to the fogs and to the parking lights and see which are brighter.
I am going to try going to the fogs if it ever stops raining.
As you can see they are not bright at all.......yes the halo's are on

but im having a really hard time trying to get them to sit without leaving to large of gaps on either side.... then there is aiming the headlights which is a whole different story

They are probably the same one's i bought a few months ago. save your self some time and take them off the car. I couldn't get them to aim correctly withough binding inthe light housing socket and having horrible gaps. The low beams were too low, but very bright, and the high beams were too high, and not bright enough.

why dont you use the original wiring? isnt what the company suggests to do? cuz i was planning on getting a set of these beautys..

Yes you just plug into the original stock wiring, the only thing that has to be "Wired" are the halo lights if you want them to work. Red wire to fog lamp, parking lights and the black to a ground.

They are plug and play if you keep halogens. They are frustrating to get aimed but with a little work it can be done. I have HIDs in mine. I have mined aimed and the light output is better than stock with HIDs.

Overall these lights look cool but other then that I'm really not satisfied. there is huge gaps everywhere, I even had to weld on an extra bracket so I could screw them in straigter. They are impossible to aim and the halo's really aren't that bright. If I could I would just buy a decent brand of projectors or regular headlights and save the headaches

I put mine back in the original box and kicked them to the corner of my garage after putting my stock lights back in my car.

Go to clubgp and look in the appearance section. There are plenty of writeups about your situation and links to a few after market power harnesses that you need. There's also a writeup on why you shouldn't use your existing wiring.
